I took out a sad that I had in part of a raid 0 setup as I needed to use it in my other pc. Bios sees it but windows installation can't and windows itself can't see it. Even in admin tools it can't see it....I unplugged it to be able to install win7 on a different hd and now am getting bsod when it starts to load windows(even safe mode)

never ever do that again..

you'll have to reinstall windows.. I think there's some raid recovery software to get some files back, not sure..

once you go RAID you can't remove one drive, it breaks the RAID..

I believe you have to redo the RAID setup or delete it from the ''raid bios'' (sorry I hope you understand what I mean..)

on my rampage III I have a menu before windows launches I can access to build a raid.. I believe that's where you have to go prior to reinstall windows..

Even on another pc I would have to "edit" the raid and delete it for the installer to be able to see it?

Plug it into a rig that's working! Then go into disk management and see if you can see it in there!

haha I now fully understands where your problem is, I thought at first that you did your business in the other pc and wanted to get your ssd back in your raid..

I'm reaally not too familiar with raid setups yet, but from what I've gathered, since even hdd order seems important, I'd suppose that you'd need to format it in some way.. say putting it back in the first pc to edit the raid if I could say.. and then use it as first intended

I hope I'm correct on this haha
