Gigabyte H55N M-ITX overclocking

Thread Starter
What can i expect with overclocking on this board? never used any of the smaller motherboards and this thing is so cute. i think it might break if i look at it funny lol. But seriously, i have seen a couple posts about it being a decent overclocking motherboard, so what can i expect with a i5 750 in it?

You should have a good bit of headroom. I can't give a specific projection as I never really pushed my i7 860, but I would expect that you could make it past 3.4GHz with proper cooling. An overclocked i5 750 will put it under a good amount of load, but the board will handle it well. I always install VRM heatsinks on the H55n-USB3 when I intend to overclock it. I'm running my i3 550 @ 4.0Ghz+ without issue.
