Strange Issue

So I appear to get this odd issue when only in AHCI mode just curious if anyone else has run into it or knows how to solve it. For some reason 2 ata channels have yellow !'s.

Attachment 199895

I have right clicked on them and did uninstall and restarted, get a failed to install driver message. I have also tried using the MSAHCI instead of AMD and still had those 2 with !'s. I have also turned off AHCI (in the registry and BIOS) to see if it would solve and in IDE mode I had no !'s but then when I switched back to AHCI these popped back up. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

My motherboard is also GA-890GPA-UD3H and randomly for some reason windows decides to not recognize my DVD drive in the far right 2 SATA 2 plugs, no idea why this happens, it only recognizes it in the SATA3 plugs.

Wow I am incredibly silly. Make sure you check to see if you have all your drivers installed :| . I went to the gigabyte website and noticed that I forgot to install the SATA2 drivers. Oi sorry for the forum clutter, but if anyone else has these issues, make sure you have all your drivers installed.

LOL!

Probably 85% - 90% of the problems here are PEBKAC related.

Without the PEBKAC error many here would feel like the Maytag repair man.....lonely.

I'm glad you found the problem!
