Around 1500$ would be best, I would also prefer to have 2 16x slot's so I can use my GTX460 as PhysX

Will be looking forward to suggestions on this thread build (roughly same build budget) as i'm also building a SB rig. Had the chance to buy the ASUS P8P67 DELUXE the other night before it went out of stock, (i took to long to find info on it)

I'd start with an i7 2600k
Asus P8P67-M Pro Board
60 FPS maxed out in most games... 2x GTX 570s or AMD 6970s.
Corsair 1000w PSU to handle those dual cards

If you're only going to SLI two gtx 460's, I'd say you could save money on the power supply and drop down to a 650w or 750w. I use a 750w myself and the only reason I use it is because it was on clearance for less than the 650w.

Your build it going to be pretty similar to mine when I finally get my motherboard, enjoy the set-up!

For Gaming, isnt the i7 a bit over overkill, as games dont utilize multi threading? I just build the i7 in my sig yesterday, very happy with it, but i dont do alot of gaming.
