[X-bit] Four AMD Bulldozer Chips Incoming: Details Revealed. - Page 4

OMG, FX-4110. Me want!
I freakin' want one of those bro!

I'm very prone to sell my board+CPU and get a new combo.

I'll be happy if I get €200-215 from both. Quite possible, considering they can be bought at €300 brand new.

well you could use the quote button.

Forget prices! I wan to see what package it comes in. When I say package, I mean what the chip looks like and what kind of pins it has, aka the package or the lack there of.

A package refers to a chip's exterior like an IC would be described as DIP. similar to how a 939 has 939 pins or a 775 had 775 contacts and not pins.
I saw some fake ass boxes with some 75 looking CPU saying they are the bulldozer boxes. I hope they still have pins, so the bulldozer boards can be reverse compatible.

If you still don't understand....

So, I'm not the only one impressed by the 8 core in 95W thermal envelope? Sounds good to me, just need to know the clocks.

That has just about made my mind up on going to SB. So we buy Bulldozer in 3 months and have to wait another 6 months for the better performing one. I'm no fanboy of either just tierd of waiting. Ready to upgrade now.

Uh.... no
In 6 months they will refresh the line with higher clock speeds. This happens all the time.
Remember, 1100T taking over 1090T's place
or 970 taking over 965, than 975
Since they're all unlocked multi, they'll just all OC around the same anyway

Hurry up and release FX-4110 so that I can decide between that and SB. I'm tired of my poorly clocking 720, even though it's been awesome for the price I paid.
