Corsair H50 and Fan Speed Problem

Thread Starter
Whats up. So, I have this Corsair H50 with s 2000RPM Push/Pull Setup. I was in the BIOS and I was looking at the RPM's of the two fans. And they weren't at 2000RPM. More like 1300-1350. All smart fan control was off.

The hottest my CPU gets at some times is 61c which is right under the safe temp. So, is there something wrong with the fans or my motherboard? Are they actually running at 2000rpm by the time I load into windows? Is there software that I can use the see the RPM's of my fans? How can I fix this problem? Thank you for your help.

The fans I used

I think those fans are probably just crappy fans. I would try and get a 4 pin molex to 3pin adapter and hook them up that way. that way they will get the full 12volts all the time and will run at max RPM. The reason you are hitting such high temps is because you are running such high voltage. you should see if you can back it down some.
