Anyone here from a G9 that switched to Mamba, do you find the Mamba requires more pressure to press the LMB/RMB ?

I just bought a Mamba since the thin wire on my G9 decided to split. Seemed like the best wireless I could get my hands on even though I have been a skeptic of Razer products for years. I don't trust the Saitek/MadKatz mice or their crappy battery life.
The R/L buttons are very responsive and you won't be disappointed coming from a G9. I don't know what the weight is with the battery but it also feels pretty good, not to heavy and not so light that it feels like a plastic piece of crap in your hand. It may be a touch on the heavy side but it's still way nicer than dragging a cord around. Comfort wise this design is much nicer than the G9 to my hand. It doesn't have the replaceable body parts but I don't think anyone could really complain about the comfort anyway. You lay your hand down over it and the mouse just wants to accept it. You are probably going to have less fatigue on your fingers.
Tracking wise this thing is perfect. I make my own mousepads out of desktop cutting sheets from my local hobby shop for like 2 dollars. I just drop a design on the back of it and it's good to go. The mouse works flawlessly and glides around on it like glass. No need for those gimmicky gadget mousepads.
One of the things I worried about was the scrollwheel being junky like on a previous Viper product I bought years ago but that doesn't seem to be an issue. It is somewhat loud and irregular compared to the G9 though. Scrolling up is noisy and clicky and scrolling down is smooth with less feedback. Definitely a design characteristic of the mechanical parts of the scrollwheel and inferior to the G9 wheel by a large margin. Another thing about the wheel is the tilt button is only one direction. I don't use them anyway so it's no big deal to me.
The other thing is the lighting is limited to blue. No big deal but I would have preferred an option for red. Not like they couldn't have popped in a red LED beside the blue one. So far that's the only engineering issue I have with it.

G700.
Pros
Better plastics, better sensor, supreme build quality.
Cons
No cradle, like the Mamba. Must charge with cable.

Mamba.
Pros
Cradle to charge o.
Cons
Philips Twin Eye sensor. Rubberized Plastic. Poor Build quality.

A friend of mine was on a Mamba, picked up a G700, the first thing he told me "WHERE HAS THIS MOUSE BEEN ALL MY LIFE?"

G700 it is.

I went from G9 to Mamba and I enjoy using the Mamba more. However I hardly use wireless mode anymore, if I start some work on the PC at around 9am, by like 9pm the battery will be almost out and I will need to plug it in. I would stick with wired mice if you are on your PC a lot. With that being said, wireless mode does track just fine when I used it.

No I have no idea how G700's battery life, because I didn't use wireless. I purchased G700 and made the default wired, & use program macros keys for FPS.

I hope logitech release G900 look like G500's body design and G700's program macros keys and 5 profiles.

I already have the Mamba and I feel that the LMB/RMB requires more pressure to push as compared to the G9 at first I thought my mouse is defective but both LMB and RMB have the very same pressure required to press. I dont have any other Mamba to compare with as the store that I got it from says we cannot test the mices because they are sealed in the box.

It just requires a tad bit more force, really noticeable difference from the G9, its easy to click but the G9 was easier.

EDIT:

After some poking around the mouse, I found out that the microswitch location for clicking on the Mamba is located way back closer to the main body, probably close to half an inch after the scroll wheel and this is why Razer's mices feel a lot harder to click and require more travel distance if you click at the tip of the mouse, I dont understand the design logic for this but It seems to give my fingers fatigue, looking at the G9 the microswitch location is centered on the area where you giving better comfort and about 50% lesser force required to push and shorter travel distance.

Can anyone verify the location of the microswitch on the G700/G500 as I might switch to that mice if I dont get used to the Mamba in about a month or so.

Can you try to determine where the micro switch is located for the clicker, if its the same as Razer's layout (about some where behind the wheel , as opposed to some Logitechs where its actually dead center in where you click ) because I find razer mices like the DA/Mamba/Lachesis/Imperator a little to hard to click.
