Wow. The one good thing about AT&T's internet..
Nooooo. Well it was fun while it lasted. 150GB is still a lot, but any sort of restrictions are bad.

How does AT&T defend the move? The company explains it will only impact two percent of consumers who use "a disproportionate amount of bandwidth," and poses the caps as an alternative to throttling transfer speeds.
That's the same crap excuse they tried using here.

So, is the US going to protest this just as much as people in Canada?

Wow.

That's all I can say.

First of all, I have AT&T since they took over SBC Yahoo! DSL...

And SBC had their stuff together, almost no problems and consistent speeds throughout they were in control.

AT&T comes in, and they through up to 50-60 ping when I had about 20 ping...

And NOW this?
yea ATT sucks. the only reason i'm using their ridiculous service is that it's $20 a month. otherwise i'll be rocking 1.5 MB/s comcast service right now.

So sad. ATT internet is already terribad as far as quality. I get ping spikes constantly. I guess this means im gonna have to cut netflix out or something. I use internet for everything. We must all protest. This is no joke we cant let them screw over us consumers like this!
yeah, agreed - their service quality is worse *Comcast*'s was (in central VA, mind you, and now I'm talking a city in Wisconsin).

It is for this reason that I will NEVER surrender my unlimited data plan for my iPhone & just tether for my WAN uplink if needed. I hated this company already, but this is another thing to gripe about.
