I'm still correct. The US is not larger than Canada. I pointed out exactly why. A country's size is not determined by its population, but you conveniently decided to not include that quote.

As I stated before, no one goes around saying "Hey China is 1 billion people big!"

Canada: 9,984,670 sq. km
U.S.: 9,826,675 sq. km

...thats a difference of about the area of California incidentally. Give it a few more years...the next imperialist regime could very well change that..plus throw in Puerto Rico, other territories, foreign military bases and embassies...or make Alaska bigger But dont worry...we might be having to sell some of that real estate to China very soon lol

Source: cia.gov

EDIT: btw I've heard many people say "Hey China is 1 billion people big", though that exact statement is poorly constructed, the meaning it attempts to convey is pretty much true

EDIT 2: Using population or land area for comparison between two nations is only really valid when comparing those two values...GDP is a much more accurate reflection of a nations "size".

Lol no. GDP reflects the economy, not the nations "size". Area is the only accurate measurement of a country's size. A state's size would be its bureaucracy and for a nation it would be population. The US is not a single nation. It consists of probably over a hundred different nations. GDP has nothing to do with it. And no, country/state/nation should not be used interchangeably.
