HDDErase doesn't load up?

Thread Starter
So I decided that the SSD I use needs a well deserved HDDErase wipe. I never did it on this exact SSD, but I have wiped a HDD before with this. Anyway I pop in my Ultimate Boot CD, restart my computer and wait for the UBCD interface to load up. Once it does I select HDD, then HDD Wipe, and then the actual HDDErase. I wait for it to load up and normally when I would wait until the actual HDDErase DOS-like screen to pop, the system just restarts on me. I tried downloading the newest version and it didn't do anything.....

You have to select IDE and compatability mode in BIOS. The SSD you want to secure erase needs to be on one of the first 4 Intel SATA headers. I usually disconnect the SATA signal cables from the SSD's I want to erase and after typing HDDErase I'll plug one of them in so that it bypasses BIOS frozen status. After erasing and selecting change drive option I'll plug the next SSD in with the same signal cable so I don't forget which ones were erased lol.
