2500k + Hyper 212 question

Hi guys,

First off, I'm a new guy to these forums and also to overclocking as well, so hi to you all! I've been reading this forum like crazy for the past few months whilst I've been planning my rebuild but I finally bought most of my new stuff and got it installed yesterday/today.

My question to you guys is that currently my processor is OC at 4GHz and a voltage of 1.17, which seems to be running stable, however, my temperatures are a little higher than I was expecting, mainly due to what I had heard about the Hyper 212+. I had also been expecting to go a bit higher for the OC, more to the region of 4.5GHz, but, with how the temps are currently, I thought id get some of your guys thoughts before going further. I did have a bit of trouble seating the cooler as well, mainly cause I found the instructions a little weird, so possibly a reseat could be the answer.

I've written out some of the temperatures below from Real Temp, whilst running a Prime95 blend test for around 4 hours and counting now.

Idle:

Core 1 - 27
Core 2 - 34
Core 3 - 34
Core 4 - 37

Load max's so far:

Core 1 - 48
Core 2 - 55
Core 3 - 55
Core 4 - 57

The current specs of my machine are:

Intel i5 2500k w/Arctic Silver 5
Asus P8P67 Pro
Corsair Vengeance 8Gb
CoolerMaster Hyper 212+
BFG Nvidia 8800 GTS (to be upgraded)
WD 500Gb HDD
Corsair HX520w PSU
CoolerMaster CM690

Also, If anyone can give me some tips on a good fan setup in a CM690 id be grateful.

Thanks!

I'd say the load temps are good, as long as it stays under 70*C.

Those temperatures are good actually.
I am running similiar temps, but my case is REALLY good on airflow. And I am at 4.9 GHz.
