Less noisy card? 5850, 6850, other?

Hello people. I might upgrade my video card some day (not now, but some day) and I have 2 points in consideration about it: how noisy it will be and if my motherboard and power supply can take it.

Currently I am interested in the 5850 or the 6850. How noisy are they compared to my 8800 GS (which sometimes brings me headaches cause the noise it makes) ?. Can a 550w PSU be enough with any of those? is my motherboard (ASUS P5K-SE) compatible?. If those cards are noisy, which other option would be more silent?

thanks!

Well if 8800GS is a reference Model with single slot cooler then HD 5850 or HD 6850 will be quieter for sure. Also it depend if you go reference or non reference. As far as you PSU i would upgrade its. It only does 360W in 12v so technically its only a 400W PSU. I would recommend 450W quality for those cards.

I don't remember my cooler brand, but I'm sure that it's a real 550w PSU (not like the generic ones which tells that and maybe they're like 400w)
