Ready to try....but I have a question

Thread Starter
Hello all:
I'm going to try a little OCing on my system. I've had it for a few years and never really done anything with it, though I have rebuilt it with some upgrades.

But I need some suggestions on good RAM to install. What would go well with my QX9650 and ASUS Striker II Extreme?

Thanks,
DFB

Can't go wrong with corsair dominators. Either 4 or 6 gigs, or if that's too expensive gskill ripjaws are really good ram for the price.

Which Dominators? And do you think going with Windows 7 64-bit would be better?

Grab Win 7 x64 if you plan on using 4GB or more RAM, which I'd advise you do.

As for which Dominator's, any dual channel DDR3 set will be find with your motherboard. I'd recommend getting a 1600MHz pair, it's a great mid range speed and will allow for great overclocks.

Check these kits at Newegg for an idea what to use.
