hey guys... this time i am building a gamers pc for my boss's son.... he needs a pc that can run all the modern games... and he said any accessories will be appriciated.... his budget was AUD2500.
the specs i chose are:
all in 1 Memory card reader
case - Antec 600
Case modding - Bitspower Dual 30cm Cold Cathode Kit Red/Orange
CPU cooling - Noctua D14 cpu cooler
CPU - intel i5 2500K
extra fans - 3 x CoolerMaster 120mm SickleFlow Fan 2000rpm Blue LED
gamepad - Xbox 360 Wireless Controller for Windows
GPU - 2 x MSI Radeon HD6950 2GB Crossfire X
HDD - Samsung SpinPoint F3 1TB HD103SJ (games, movies, docs, pics, etc)
OCZ Vertex 2 60GB SSD (OS and programs)
Ipod Charging dock - Kensington Charging and Sync Dock 3/3GS/4/Touch

OS - windows 7 ultimate 64bit or windows xp professional SP 3 64bit?
Webcam - Logitech C510 HD Webcam

ill be buyin the parts from www.pccasegear.com ..
i don't think he will be overclocking, but im not sure either...
anyways... anything that can be better...

why get an 2500k if he's not going to overclock?

That would be like me (asian) buying a honda civic and keeping it stock :O Unreasonable!

any changes i can make?
And which OS should i go with?

Go with windows7 64 bit. A 2500k will be great for anything but if he is trying to save money you can pick up a used i7 with mobo for way less here in the FS section. That SSD will work wonders in making everything load fast

Windows 64 bit Home Premium should be fine.

kk... ill go with the 2500K sandy bridge cause i think its better... and its is in his budget..
so yeah... another question
does MSI radeon 6950 2gb support 3 way crossfire X?
