hi all i just have a quick quistion i recently bought a gigabyte p55-ud5 mobo
and i installed it my case i thought every thing was ok so i turned it on and nothing i tried everything to get it to run but no luck so i took it back to were i bought it and they said i fried it wich i didthe reason for the frie out was i left a standoff in the wrong possition stupid i know but the problem is apparently gigabyte will not fix it as it's my fault!
is there any thing i can do with this board i ordered a replacement wich i have to pay for that's fine but i don'nt really want to throw the dead one away what should i do?

Request an RMA and just say it stopped working. Don't go into details as to what made it not work. You should be good to go.

If you give them information saying it was your fault of course they will not RMA.
