It would seem the 58xx/59xx have better usage in this game.

Well at my new settings I bsod while running prime. I wonder if there is a way to test if I have a bad stick of ram. That would explain some BSODs when OCing. or maybee bad chip **** Idunno

ill help you out tomrrow..just need to know what cooler your running and temp at idle and load at 3.6ghz. blue screen are usually not enough voltage on cpu-nb or rams. need to know your timing specs as well.

Well I have a H50 cooler and a push/pull fan setup on it. My timings for ram are stock right now at1600 dont know alot about them. everything is set back to stock so i can avoid a BSOD. I use to want to achieve 4GHz but now that I know my cards are performing just fine I only want to overclock for CPU performance and at a stable level so I dont have to shoot for 4GHz but maybe like 3.6-3.8ish should be good?

It doesn't matter how playable the fps is, if you aren't hitting 99% gpu usage in modern games you are being bottlenecked.

So then explain why the person with the same setup but an i7 got same gpu usage? If your telling me that his decent i7 is bottlenecked as well then I guess theres nothing I can do anywayz.

It is a very cpu heavy game and it is one of the few that takes advantage of 6 threads, your extra two cores would offset the clock for clock advantage of the i7 9xx. As I said in previous posts, you should set your anti aliasing setting to edge detect in CCC and run bc2 at 8aa in game setting, it will be running at 24aa and if your gpu usage hits 100% or much closer to it it will be final proof that the issue is that the cpu is not supplying enough information for your cards to run 100% usage at lower settings so by upping the gpu load you get closer to 100% usage. I've said this plenty of times, if you are not getting 99% gpu usage in modern games there IS a bottleneck somewhere, people can sugarcoat it and say "well its still playable" which is absolutely true, but there IS a bottleneck. If you don't mind your cards only running as well as a setup several hundred dollars cheaper in many games that's fine, as I said it is still completely playable but you aren't getting near the optimal performance from them.

Yes there is something you can do, get a sandy bridge(or wait to see what bulldozer offers). They are 40-50% faster than phenom II's clock for clock on average plus you can get much higher overclocks. You could likely hit 99% usage in everything at 4-4.5ghz on a 2500k. Lastly while you are getting similar gpu usage in bc2 keep in mind that it is one of the few games that do take advantage of 4+ threads. When you get to games like WoW, starcraft 2 or anything that only really utilizes 2-3 threads that is where phenom II's really start to choke with high end video card setups with their severe IPC deficit compared to intels sandy bridge cpus. This is extremely well documented and your own tests prove it with both cards sitting at 35-50% in most games. Those are the EXACT symptoms of a bottleneck down to the letter and I am astounded people can honestly say there isn't one with the evidence looking them straight in the face.
