Nah.. it isn't the end of the world--There is just a lot of misinformation about the GTX 570 and I had a hunch disabling the OCP (which I have no clue why you would) seemed likely the culprit. I'm just assuming with good, proper cooling I can safely go slightly above nvidia voltage specs seeing as my temps will still be well below what the card is intended to run at, stock.

If I find out otherwise, you'll see me with a crappy GPU and I'll post here smile.gif

Quite a scary card the 570s, there has been people who have just been benching on standard volts and them popping on the VRMs, however they tend to do it quite soon and if yours has been running fine id would imaging you will be good to go - mine seems fine at 900 @ 1.087
