need help my brothers lappy got the 0x000000f error on boot up which the says 'the boot seclection failed because a required device is inaccessible

tried to restore using system restore but it said theres no restore point

and i need access to one of his cw which needs to be done today

can anyone help?

hdd has come loose or is completly corrupt..

2 things to check open the backplate of the lappy push the hdd back up into its slot if it is loose if it isnt then try loading bios defaults save exit then hit f8 for boot selection choose the hdd it may start..

if it dont then your pretty much out of luck and need a new hdd.. meaning clean install of os etc..
