keyboard problem - Page 2

There is really no reason that your keyboard input should be lagging, regardless of how much cpu you are using. Did this just randomly start, and have you tried using another keyboard? You also might try using a ps/2 if your are using usb, or vice versa.

How long ago did this start happening?

So, I know when it starts to happen, but what I don't know is when it first started happening to you.

Ohh, actually!

I was wrong about how my pc starts lagging.
When my CPU is processing stuff (e.g. 15% usage), my keyboard doesn't lag the PC at all. so it's all good. BUT if/when I press CTRL + ALT + DEL then the keyboard will trigger the PC lag. After when the task manager is opened, my pc will lag everytime when I use the keyboard. the lag ain't gone when l close the task manager.

I've checked the hotkey features (e.g. sticky hotkeys) and they are all off.

This is weird, if I never pressed CTRL + ALT + DEL, everything is fine.

Today. First time. Dunno if it happened before.

If my CPU usage is 0 or 1, ctrl alt del doesn't trigger the pc/keyboard lag. however when it's 15% or so, pressing ctrl del alt will trigger the lag.

Were there any changes over the past 24-36 hours that could have made this start happening?

Like, is there anything different about your system today as compared to 24-36 hours ago?
