so what the best card both are 230 euro pleaz help me choose what card to put in my friend build i have the 6950 and i am happy with it but wich card i choose now the gtx 560 or the amd one

Between the 2, the ASUS 6950 DCU II is better, but it's 3 slots while the GTX 560 is 2 slots. If he has enough space then the 6950 is the card to get, if not then the GTX 560.

I was wondering this too, since if you oc the 560 it can actually beat or be on par with a gtx 570 stock. However when you unlock the 6950, would it still be ocable?

Yes it would, unlocked 6950s will still OC, but an overclock 6950 would also be on par with a 570 (it would need less overclock to be as fast compared to the 560). Both cards are great, but if your friend can fit a tripple slot card then he should go for the 6950 and if he can't then the GTX 560. You should also consider the Gigabyte 560 Super Overclock, though as you say they are the same price (560 and 6950), in which case the 6950 is superior as it's faster for the same price.

Kepler won't be out until mid-November 2011 just before Christmas when they start to trickle out the series.

If you can unlock the 6950 by following this thread......then go for it. If not, then the GTX 560.
