an average of 60-80 bucks more and then most are out of stock so good luck finding one. the 3gb model is completely irrelevent to this article. they didn't even use regular 580s in it to begin with because of price comparison.

I'm happy with 3-way. I was 2-way for a couple months, and I've definitely noticed the increased FPS. Even if it's only 20-30 FPS, it still means a lot when running a DX11 game at max.

A lot of people also forget SLI allows enhanced visual quality. I'd always prefer performance for new games, but older titles can look ridiculously good with 96x AA and 24x Supersampling.
