As the link showed though, that was hurting performance. Also the fact that the cards can only talk to the card next to it. 3/4 way have to run through 1-2 cards just to talk to the card on the other side. I'm sure AMD can easily fix this, but I have no idea if they're even focusing on this any time soon.

He forgot to add that once you unclock the 6950s to 6970s, you get even better performance for a lower price. I thought the 6950 wouldn't be able to match up to the GTX570 but it looks like I was wrong.
