Comcast VS. FIOS

I'm waiting for Verizon to show up today to install FIOS

Here is my current connection 22/5 with Comcast

I will be upgrading to a 35/35 with Verizon hopefully everything will go smoothly.

Yeah I have Time Warner, and Im close to what you have. Fios is right around the corner, but town wont let them put anymore fios around frown.gif sucks too. FIOS is nasty fast from what ive herd.

Fios will definitely be faster, but remember it is a shared connection to the neighborhood then split to each house just like cable is. It just has a larger pipe to flow through. I have been using Fios at home now for almost 3 years, it is great vs any other competitor in my area.

well by switching to FIOS
PRO: I get a better internet package
CON: TV I basically have all the channels I had with Comcast but fewer HD channels and the FIOS TV guide is terrible

The best part I will save around $65 a month so more $$$ for computer upgrades biggrin.gif
