I understand the concern and I've taken a few precautions. I've put heatsinks on them and there is also direct airflow over them. Its been running solid for about 7 months now at unlocked and overclocked to 3.8ghz so I have faith (knock on wood).

But yes I know this board has given people lots of issues in terms crappy mosfets but If it does go up in flames its no biggie... it came free with my 555BE.

Fair enough.

Seriously, I am kind of jealous though. I want to build a SFF rig out of mine.

We use these at work. Optiplex cases. I have 2 of the previous model I don't use if you really want one maybe we can work something out. I also have the HP business tower.

I need a VR6T for my MkIV Jetta...

stealth build FTW...I came from a Dell 4400 Dimension and man did that thing suck to work in....much respect.

reverse stealth build...not so much for the win...but if you have the money for a cool case, and no money for parts...lol

Alright so I got around to taking some more pics. Could not get my hand on my camera so I am using my cell phone for these pics so that's why they aren't the best quality.

I upgraded my cooling to a Thermaltake Duorb. It's pretty impressive but what I like most is that it provides cooling for the mosefets and memory. I am about 6c less than the Freezer 64 Pro as well. It was a great deal; I was Microcenter and saw it on clearance for $20 so that explains the random upgrade.

And now for the pics:

Looks like your low end Dell huh?

Lets take a quick peak inside

Dang thats some pretty hot stuff for a dell!

another shot

and finally in action

Temps are very good since you can see how close the front 120mm fan is to everything. Spins at about 1500rpm max so that keeps it very quiet. The rear 92mm is has been 7v modded so its also very quiet. The HSF stays about 1600RPM. The X2 is the loudest thing during gaming but that can't be helped... two 4870's on one PCB. Otherwise a quiet and cool little PC.

So there you have it... my stealth Dell build. Nobody will expect this tiny thing to house a friggin 4870X2 and a Quad Core CPU. NO ONE! MUAHAHAHA!

PS: thanks for the checking my thread
VERY NICE WORK!
