Eyefinity and Older Games

I don't know if this has been posted anywhere but I recently got an Eyefinity setup going and have been trying to get older games to run with it. Not a lot of luck with some game so far... some games like Cross Racing Championship 2005 refuse to start with 3 screens enabled. Even with Eyefinity turned off.

Far Cry 2 works but is vertically squashed looking and wouldn't allow me to run DX 10 to get my resolution of 5760 x 1080. I could run it in DX 9 mode. The game has to be patched to 1.3 I believe to even work. I found the Far Cry 2 gamerprofile xml file in my users documents. Opened it with notepad and made a few manual changes and now it work beautifully.

1. I made sure my resolutionx and resolutiony were correct
2. forcewidescreen="1"
3. widescreenfov="1"
4. aspectratio="16:9" ( may be different for you?)
5. platform="d3d10"

This got rid of my squashed view and allowed me to use DX 10.

Hopefully someone may find this useful to run the game with Eyefinity in the future. I am still going through my game collection and researching fixes. If anyone has any to share please post them.

Games that work automatically (with latest patches) that I have are:

Medal of Honor 2010
Battlefield Bad Company 2
Crysis and Warhead
Crysis 2
Lord of The Rings Online (menus and map look horrible)
Oblivion
Dirt
Grid
NFS World
NFS Shift
GT Legends
Dragon Age: Origins (some issues with disappearing foliage in game though, not sure if related to Eyefinity)
Two Worlds
Two Worlds 2

Call of Duty 4 (widescreen game fixer helps) http://www.widescreenfixer.org/

Doom 3 installed and working with these instructions: http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/wiki/Doom_3

Freelancer is almost working... the menus are messed up or off the screen... instructions here: http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=93740&highlight=freelancer if anyone knows how to edit the camera file or other files in data folder to work with higher resolutions, say 5760 x 1080 or 1200 let me know.

Morrowind works with these instructions: http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/wiki/index.php/The_Elder_Scrolls_III:_Morrowind you will also want to change your FOV to around 100 and to 3 monitor aspect on the misc/2 tab.

Need For Speed Most Wanted (versions 1.2 and 1.3) will work at lower resolutions (I had to run 2400 x 600 to see most of the screen) with these instructions: http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/wiki/index.php/Need_for_Speed:_Most_Wanted

Need For Speed Carbon (versions 1.2 and 1.3) will work: http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/wiki/Need_for_Speed:_Carbon it uses the same resolution fixer as Most Wanted.

You will have to go to the downloads section on the tocaedit.com website - past projects - (all other) project collection 2002-2008 to get the resolution fixer.

Freelancer does not work, I have been modifying it to attempt to get it to run through the intro sequence but I haven't yet got the accept the offer to join the LSF to work. The dialog and accept button is off the screen. The videos look pretty nice but I had to change some settings in the data\interface\baseside\navbar just to be able to see the buttons while on base.
