you put the hose over the barb. The clamp goes over both.

not to worried about cost, this is just a baseline on how much money i have to make this summer to get all this, pretty much i am setting a bar to attempt to get to, last summer i made $600.00 USD for rebuilding a stone wall for my aunt, that is how i bought most of my sig rig.
