Yes. It was from the since tyere was no flow. It was a good kit thatfor several years. It was just the pumps time to go. Acrylic isnt that strong. Cracks, breaks and fades. I'd never recommend it.

I was priming my system last year, couldn't get some air out of the tubing and wound up frying my 8800gts. Apparently they don't like getting power through the board without the 6 pin power cable plugged in.

While draining my loop once I got a bunch of water on my sound card. Had to let it dry for an entire day it was torture. (works perfectly btw)

Other than that its been smooth sailing.

I had installed a CPU-only loop into a Lian-Li V351 (mATX case) and it was running smoothly for a couple of weeks. One day, I decided to change the PSU in the case and proceeded to rip it out...forgetting that I had decided to forgo clamps since I had plans to replace the tubing.

One end promptly popped out of the barb and proceeded to empty a quarter of the water in my reservoir into the case, giving my northbridge and video card a good soaking. I only noticed when I felt a gush of warm water as I was installing the PSU.

All my other loops have 7/16 tubing over 1/2 barbs so it never occurred to me that this would happen; this one happened to have 3/8 tubing over 3/8 barbs.

Needless to say, I now have clamps. Accidents happen when you get complacent (in this case, utterly foolish). All's fine, by the way, a testament to why we should always use distilled water.

My only problem was a trashed mobo when I built my own water block for the northbridge. I didn't bother to properly leak test it and it had a pinhole in one of the joints. Lesson learned, always leak test thourogly before using something. In my case, a little bit of paper towel would have shown the leak and saved the board. At least I had a spare on hand and a lesson learned.

I was using an OLD (this was before they had the Exos) koolance in-case system which filled from the bottom. The fill plug O-ring gave out and I got a nice stain on the carpet. This was my first WC system. The no computer parts were fried, but my parents did not know I bought a new system and they were not happy when they say the spot when I moved out.

Umm yes...sooner or later it will happen to all but the most careful people (and I'm not one of them..).

-Shorted out one power supply when filling/spilling a reservoir.
-Shorted out one motherboard when filling/spilling a reservoir
-Fried a pump feeding it 30V.
-Nearly burst tubing on my GPU loop when I accidentally disconnected the pump molex screwing around in the case.
-Nearly cause a fire when compression fittings leaked (my own fault) while testing a radiator with aquarium heaters (with thermometers bypassed).
-Have had tygon burst in my face when testing with household water pressure.
-Many a chopped fingers playing with high speed fans

But it was all a "Good" experience in my book. We learn from our mistakes, but only after we admit they were our own fault and man up to our own actions....
