Keyboard/Mouse Suggestions

Thread Starter
Hey guys. Looking to invest in a nice keyboard and mouse as currently I'm using your generic MS type board and mouse. I'm not too up-to-date on this kind of tech, so I could really use the advice of some seasoned pros. cool.gif

I'd like to stay around $125-150 for board and mouse, but may be willing to stretch to $200 if the return on quality is worth it. I don't play many FPS (CS:S and BFBC2 very casually) so I wouldn't mind a wireless mouse and keyboard to help tidey up my cord clutter. I am not opposed to having wired devices though. I would also prefer a board that has some backlighting.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Awesome coincidence, I am actually about to sell mine if you are interested. It is a Roccat Kone (with all 4 weights) and Microsoft Sidewinder X6 for $95 shipped for the pair. Price is pretty flexible, PM me if interested.

How about this Gyration Air Mouse Elite with Low-Profile Keyboard($81)? Looks cool. The price is sweet as well. It might meet your needs well.

If he is not an FPS player I would suggest him not buy a cherry black switched keyboard as most people don't find them to be great switches for typing. A solid choice would be to get a roughly hundred dollar mechanical keyboard (Leopold or BW) with Brown or Blue switches and then get a no frills mouse of decent quality like the Deathadder.
