Thanks for reply, what about the 900s?
The 900's are said to have a bit more bass than the 700's. That being said if the 900's are "bassy", I'm glad I didn't get anything less
post #5 of 30
I have hard the same, i would go with 700 if you are looking for a all around headphones.

900 will be more fun i assume alot more bassy great for hiphop and eletronica house music, etc you know the works.

I don't know how they will work with your sound card, but on my mediocre onboard sound, the bass is extremely lacking (I reckon due to lack of output power). My Cowon D2+ on the other hand make these headphones sound amazing! (Cowon has something like a 74mw amp built in.) HA-RX700's are great, although I personally like the ear cushions on the 900's better.

Theres a coushin mod, that supposedly gives you a better soundstage and makes it,well, cushier

900s do have more bass. You can remove some felt over the driver covers to open the mids/highs a bit. They're very comfy, more so than the 700s.

Got some 900's here as I love DnB and gaming

Very comfy but sometimes get hot and awkward during the summer after a few hours

I would get the 900's if they aren't much more. I love mine
