My i7 Rig

Thread Starter
Hey all -

So like many others I "upgraded" my i7 rig to SB and am on the fence about either selling it or making a 24/7 folder. Let me know what you think as a package and broken down.

i7 920 (C0) - not the best overclocker but not terrible either. 3.8 at 1.24 and 4.0 at 1.34. No suicide runs and only oc'd for about half it's lifetime.

Asus P6T regular with box and all accessories

OCZ Gold - 6Gb (3x2) 1600 cas 9

Palit Sonic Platinum GTX460 - box and accessories

Thanks in advance!

CPU - 160, mobo - 100-105, GPU - 160, ram - 65.

In case you'll think that the mob's value is too low - keep in mind that it is one of asus's basic boards.

No I realize that, thanks for the help. Now to decided if I want to keep the whole rig and get another PSU or if I should sell it.

It's really depends on whether you need another computer. I can see that you already have a SB system, and if you don't need two gaming computers, you should sell your current comp.

Not worth the extra expense, get the $$
well your sb will drop down power a bit. 200 watts lower then i7. i would sell the i7 and get a sb for folder.
cpu 150
mobo 100 ish
ram 60
gpu ~ 125-150
could add the 460 to loop and have that fold.
