friends told me that i wont notice a huge difference on read and write by changing from hdd to ssd.now my hdd have 60mb/s read and write, i though buying an ssd on 300mb/s w/r it will be a huge performance upgrade.
multitasking loading games ,installing programs... what should i do? just stick with my hdd ?

You would notice a big performance increase however cost and size of the drive are big factors. SSDs are really expensive, especially considering how cheap SATA hard drives are.

i dont thing ssd is that expensive as all saying. for 100pounds u can buy corsair 80gb 300mb/s read and write.people buy 2 or 3 graphics card for about 1000pounds and for me more than one card is useless so compairing 100pounds for an ssd is nothing. u dont need more than 80gb for windows programs and favorite games... as am using 320gb hdd now and 230gb are always free.

thanks for helping me i will buy one but i heart that new ones are coming out soon cheaper and faster. when exactly are they coming?

The OCZ Vertex 3's are supposed to come out around end of March. Note, though, either current SSD's will drop down in price or the new drives will carry a slight price premium.
