Diffently get a Hyper 212+ (cooler).

EDIT: Did I mention it's $30?

Yeah see I don't know how you get such great temps, mine rockets toward 60C pretty quick at 4ghz (sig is wrong, I have since bumped mine down to 3.8ghz). Would really like to shave some temp off that, even without a bump in speed...

Pretty nice looking... Would you recommend another 140mm intake somewhere to create more of a positive pressure?

Things I am thinking about...
1. Second 5870 for some Crossfire love
2. New case... something a bit quieter than what I have now and not so cheap feeling, but which one?
3. Nicer CPU cooler, something that will work better with the X6 (not ready for a water loop yet)
4. Something really cool I don't even know about.

So I am open to some recommendations. I use my computer for school, gaming (NFS, Battlefield, MoH, Mafia II, etc), video transcoding, programming... Pretty much everything.

Depending on the upgrade and utility provided, I don't want to spend more than ~$200.

Thoughts?
the best upgrade would be to get another hd5870,
however if u want to change pc case, cpu cooler in future u can have this:
pc case- HAF 932
cpu cooler- corsair H70

When I first got my CM 690 II, I went crazy with fans. I decked it out with 2x140mm (exhaust) at the top, 1x140mm (intake) in front, 2x120mm (intake) at the bottom, 1x120mm (exhaust) at the rear, 2x120mm (exhaust) on one side panel, and even got an 80mm (intake) for the other side panel - definitely overkill.

To answer your question though, you could place a 140mm fan intake or 2x120mm fan intakes at the bottom; they definitely helped cool the video cards. The case has dust filters (not the best, but they work) as well.

If you absolutely "need" something to keep it "fresh", I would get a HAF case (932,X) and a Corsair H50 or H70. You seem to have the rest of your hardware in order. I would not sell or throw away your current case. I'm assuming your like myself and waiting for Bulldozer or Ivy to come out and then to get cheaper and the bugs worked out. Then you could put your new build in your new case and transfer your old back to your NXZT. With the new gpus out and newer ones on the way, I would use the 5870 until she blows.

You pretty much nailed it on the head. I am leaning toward the HAF because of those GIANT fans, which should really provide plenty of cooling while remaining relatively quiet I would think...

They are quiet and if you decide on the 932, it has LOTS of room for the future (water cooling and graphics)
