The crossfire scaling of the 68xx series is the highest of any cards series yet. It averages at 86%, much higher than the GTX 4xx series' ~70% scaling.

The 6870 is superior to the GTX 460 with DX11, and DX10 and DX 9. You can look up ANY review and it will tell you that.

nVidia cards have always been more power hungry than ATI cards.

Image quality was never proven as a fact.

Physx is an extremely limited technology used in very very few games.

Also, I can get a good 32.5k in 3dmark Vantage's GPU test with my 6870 crossfire. I'll like you to try that with your SLI.

The 6870 is more in the league of the GTX 470, and even beats it when in crossfire due to superior scaling.

Next time, do more research before spewing nonsense.
Ok now I'm again leaning towards AMD.
Tmmrow b4 going to the shop i'll check this thread & make up my mind.

Dude just look at the benchmarks listed here. It's a direct comparison:

http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/314?vs=301

The 6870 CF will have more rendering power for higher FPS which is more important later down the road when new games release and GTX 460's struggle.

Didn't see if this was posted http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum...ing-study.html
But the review shows that BOTH overclocked the is 6870 almost always faster (or at least equal) than the 460, if you factor in better cf scaling the AMD setup would be considerably faster.

^thank u...
Its about some1 started a benchoff...
Still thought the 6870s will be better than 460s. Unless u can clock the 460s to 900+, which is doable with asus's cards.
Btw logan666 ur holding on ur OC >.>, I can get 960mhz on the core .

Edit: object is at high....y?
