Thread Starter

This will be easy for you guys to answer.

I have a ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 - motherboard

and i need to know if this RAM will work for it.

i have 4 GIG in the board now with 2 slots empty. If this RAM works do i just place it into the empty slots and nothing more? It will just work? It also says the RAM is for Dual Channel DDR3 systems. I dont know what that means.

It sure will work! No hassle at all!

Dual Channel DDR3 you say? Well DDR3 is pretty much just signifying that it is double data rate ram and that it is of the 3rd generation. The Dual channel means that it works in dual channel mode. sets of 2 cards will run in dual channel mode, sets of 3 will work in triple channel in x58 systems (Think Intel i7 9xx series). Not my personal choice in ram but it will work just fine! Enjoy your new ram man.

Not a good purchase
Always buy 2x2GB kits for best pricing
Don't buy generic 1333 CL9 memory
Be sure you have 2 or 4 DIMMs for dual channel on your mobo
