Help with my 260 Core 216

Thread Starter
Need some help with my EVGA 260 SSC Core 216, I can't seem to figure this one out and its bugging the hell out of me now.
First is the SPDIF pass through will not work at all I have the cable pluged in and have enabled audio via the Nvidia control panal, and am useing the supplyed DVI to HDMI converter.

Second it seems that when ever I play games the PC will randomly crash/freaze after a minimum of 10 mins, now I know its not the OS or the other parts of the PC as its all brand new, and when I say new I mean new just over a month old,
IF I put my old 8800GTX back in I can play for hours with no problems at all, now what I cant work out that the 260 passed all stress test I put it through and will run 3D mark in a loop for ages but games are a different matter they will run for 10 mins then crash??

Edit: Ok after some more playing I was able to run Star trek online for 40 mins and then LOTRO for and other 40mins after that then it crashed/froze, now all i did was unplug my HDTV from the other DVI slot and turn the fan up to 100% the GPU-Z log showed my card hit a max temp of 56c and still crashed

Its not a over heating problem as I have run tests with the cards fan at 100% and with a desktop fan at side of PC.

Sounds like a driver conflict with the 260.

yea, its probably drivers...

try updating the drivers, or if they're up to date, see if u can install some older ones which might work hopefully
