Asus Rampage III Extreme or EVGA X58 4-WAY SLI Classified XL ATX

Thread Starter
Hi everyone

So I researched for motherboards and it finally came down to two that will fit my needs once I have a system built. I'm simply asking for those who OWN either the ASUS Rampage III Extreme or EVGA X58 4 SLI give me some pro's and con's on each motherboard. Hopefully that will make my decision clearer to which motherboard to lean towards more.

Here are the links to both motherboards

+1 for the R3E. Got a 4.44GHz OC with little tweaking!

They're both equally good.
I have the Asus R3E and have had no problems with it and the BIOS features are mind boggling.
I don't have experience with EVGA, but from the feedback of OCN members, they're motherboards are awesome.

Posting from my phone so I cant see if you have a case posted...but remember...that evga 4way is a huge board and will not fit easily or at all in many cases.

But, I love my classy 3...love evga boards in general. Their performance is similar but the 4way is larger.
