27" Gaming Monitor: Asus, Samsung, or Viewsonic?

Thread Starter
Got my tax return and I want to get a new monitor to replace my 23" Acer.

Out of the 3 below, which would you choose and why? Use will be mostly for gaming (dragon age, wow, a few fps here and there and some web browsing, no movies or anything like that)

I will be sitting about 3 - 3.5 feet away from it...thanks! Anyone have experience with any of these?

My budget is pretty much 300-325, where these all fall into

ASUS VE276Q

I have experience with the Asus smaller brother the 25.5" - awesome monitor is all that I can say, you can't go wrong if you go Asus, always top notch in quality and picture (I have three of them, so a small sampling to go by )

I'd go with Samsung as well. The Asus seems to be hit or miss with color calibration. Viewsonic has pretty terrible RMA support.

Samsung

I've always had a good experience with them. The Asus would be a close second though. I would stay far away from ViewSonic. I used to have a LCD monitor by them and it died within a year without warning and their customer supports is nonexistent.
