Installing winxp on my netbook?

Thread Starter
I have a Acer Aspire One 255d and i am using a USB external HDD to install winxp on my PC. I get all the way to partitioning my hard drives, and my c: partition is the external Hdd and it needs to be the D: partition, which is my onboard hard drive. how do I switch the two? I cant install right now so please help!

Press esc for the boot menu while it's loading?
Then select the external hard drive on the list.
