How I hate pushpins..
Intel needs to ditch pushpins, there must be a better way to cool a chip for less then a dollar.

This is a 130W chip
It would never run on that small stock Intel cooler.
It would need the full-size heatsink used on the i7 six-core and some unlocked LGA1156 models

I hate having to reapply TIM on systems with pushpins.
My scythe ninja (A cooler that weighs > 1lb) had push pins, I could never get it on.
Had to use mounting hardware from my xiggy to make it work.

Besides, 12MB for 2 cores? This isn't the core 2 duo era anymore - that's too much!

IMO a bad marketing move by Intel. This processor is stupid, useless, and all it gives them is the "first to 4Ghz stock" crown which is important, why?

This is why I highly prefer AMD, at least they're not as ridiculous with what they do...
this is a 130w tdp I believe, so a far difference from 65w like the i5's

I don't think any of the lga 1156 unlocked chips came with hs, my 655k and 875k both did not

They have cute Koreans, so they might as well get the opposite to balance out.

Why don't they just make a dual core and not go to the trouble of disabling cores
