Any thoughts?
Microcenter has the 2500k for $179.99... you have one by you? I'm not sure about that Asrock but it looks good....
EDIT: Also as XD said... go for the Lan Li it is really nice..... even it it isn't $60 anymore, it is still a good deal at $79.99 w/ free shipping... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811112238

That looks beautiful!

I'm a little weirded out by the fact that the mobo claims quad-SLI/Xfire capability, though it only has 3 PCIE slots that will run 8X8X4X. (or 16X0X4X) (to me this means that it's only good for dual SLI or 3-way Xfire, or Dual SLI/Xfire and a Physx).

Other than my confusion about these claims (not important unless you were planning on more than 2 GPUs at some point on this build), I think it looks great. That's a great deal on that RAM kit. Definitely worth jumping on.

No, there are no Micro Centers in my state at all. The Lancool isn't a bad case, but I prefer the look of the HAF 912 and its cheaper, so considering I am already over budget, I will probably stick with it unless I find one that I like more and is cheaper.

Yeah, it really is an excellent deal on that RAM. I can't decide whether to just get 1 set or two because it is such a good deal, but I will probably just end up getting 1 because, as I said earlier, I am already over budget.

Now I just have to wait for the motherboards to come back out! Hurry! lol

I called Newegg but they said they didn't even have any information on when they would start getting any of the P67 boards back, let alone when they would get the specific board I want. Hopefully it isn't long though. I have already purchased some of my parts and I want to get all the parts close enough together that if I have a problem with a component it isn't too late to just send it back to Newegg instead of having to deal with the manufacturer.

Newegg cut me a deal on the i5 2500k ($200 instead of $220), all I had to do was send a link to Micro Center to show that they had it for $180.

I "bought" the Extreme4 off of SuperBiiz on Thursday at 3pm and then Friday morning they emailed me to say they were out of stock. They STILL have not changed the site to reflect it being out of stock. I was planning on buying it from them when they "supposedly" were going to get a new shipment next week, but now I think I might be upset enough to just wait until Newegg gets a shipment (when I called and talked to them they said they expect to offer them for sale around mid April).

I bought everything else for my build Thursday too, so now I am going to have all that stuff sitting around waiting for a motherboard.

It will be worth the wait. Hang in there!

So, do you think I should wait until Newegg gets it in mid April or try to pick one up at SuperBiiz next week?

I didnt read any other post on this thread but take my advice and do NOT buy a low end cheap case. Plastic parts will break off, fans will click, the material is cheap and flimsy, you will regret it. Companies like Antec and Thermaltake, from my experience, make cheap cases. Sure its affordable and looks good, but after a month or longer you'll likely start to notice just how low-quality it is.

Look at cases made by Silverstone, Corsair, and Lian Li. These are great high quality cases made from high-quality materials, sure they'll cost a little more but its totally worth it, I will never again put a budget on a case.

I'd say Coolermaster is better than Antec, but trust me the companies I've listed like Lian li and Silverstone make such great cases it's worth seeing if you can find one thats a suitable price for your budget.

I really like lian Li's stainless interiors

Just read that you ordered all your stuff... Well im glad you didnt go with Antec at least. I'm sure you'll be happy with your coolermaster.

I'd recommend the ASRock Extreme4, around $150 and supports SLI+Crossfire.
