No, I'm actually not pissed off because of that...in fact, I rarely ever get pissed at games. It's people I play with or against I get pissed off at. Frustrated...yes. But to directly answer your question...no, because that didn't happen anyway.

As I thought I made it clear in my prior post, if you haven't played the game this is exactly how it is to me. The campaign is quite like watching a movie you've never seen before with a buddy who's seen it already, only to make it 3/4 way through before a power outage occurred. Then your buddy proceeds to narrate the ending for you in the dark. It's not like a purposeful cliff hanger, it reeks of an unfinished product (in regards to SP.)

Are you guys having problems with half the FPS (or even less) in MP vs SP? This is a known problem to devs, and here is a thread discussing it.
http://www.homefront-game.com/forums/topic/4463

I was able to 'fix' the problem using the suggested:
-compatscale=4

However this caused tearing to be present, even though VSync was enabled. I also experienced several game freeze-ups. Right now I'm testing with VSync disabled, FPS smoothing enabled. So far I haven't experienced a crash.

I actually had no issues what so ever with the MP. I did not6 look at framerates but I know that it was not under 60.

Well consider yourself lucky. I get a constant 60FPS in single player as well as in a practice MP level, but 30 FPS average in MP. Many others with single card, Crossfire/SLI, NVidia, ATI configs all experiencing the same thing in that thread.

Also does the game minimize to the taskbar when you launch, causing you to have to click on it? One of the devs in that thread I posted above mentioned that this could be a problem.

Anyone?

Nope I don't have that issue. Maybe why it's working good for me. Game launches normally.

My framerate is fine in both SP and MP, though I get these annoying 1 second freezes during MP every minute or so...

Did that actually improve your FPS in MP?

I do have that problem, where in SP I get a constant +60fps and in MP I get drops to like 30fps.

Sorry for the double post, I went to:

C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\SteamApps\\common\\homefront\\Engine \\Config

And I opened BaseEngine.ini

I can't find anything of compatscale ? Where do I have to modify that?

What's going on, there's like no one playing right now, lol. I only see a few servers with some players and those are servers with latency of like 300ms for me. Shows how good the multiplayer is.
