Play Bulletstorm yet? - Page 2

@Razi3l: What great graphics? It absolutely looks like not good on PC.

I just played it for few minutes, fpslimit at 60, and I kept laughing at the 'Bulletstorm will make your PC weep'. It wasn't what they said.

Here are few screenies of the graphics.

Then sometimes graphics are screwed when looking at very fat distance

More pics~

As people said, gameplay is nice, but for me... well, the graphics

I thought the game was down right amazing, from the first trigger pull to the final shabang.

There was a few merits with a particular character (i won't mention) but luckily he's temporary. The guns are amazing and to anyone worried about the dialogue, alot of it is very clever and not as 'balls to the wall' stupid as you may think. Each character has a soul still and aren't just robotic, trash-talkin' lugnutz.

However, the game has an issue in certain resolutions (1600x900 included) where it only utilizes up to half of your GPU ~ this results in terrible framerates and i actually had to bite the bullet and play in 720p non-native even being the graphic whore that i so admittedly am. However i got so into the game that i couldn't put it down and completely forgot about the fact that i wasn't running it natively.

The outside environments are truely stunning and the artistic direction for the graphics are just down right awe-inspiring. I also found the gameplay to be VERY FUN and entertaining ~ more so then 99% of generic shooters these days. The skillshot system is very rewarding and downright entertaining, anyone who says otherwise either sucks or... is stuck in the CoD fever

All in all i'm happy with my purchase, i got it from a key site so only spent $30 but i would have spent $50 happily if there wasn't such a big issue with the game running correctly.

EDIT: to the guy above me, you really oughta play the game through and through before you judge it. It's graphics really shine in specific environments that you obviously didn't get to, judging by the screens you posted.

By great, I meant on max. Those don't look like they're on max, and fyi all unreal 3 engine games have an fps cap of 60 or 62. It's to smooth out the FPS but it can easily be removed. As for "will make your PC weep", they were talking about surround and 3D, which could be true. Either way it runs fine and looks fine so I have no problem with it myself. They just have to fix post processing.

If you are after a COD4/BF2 like game this definitely isn't for you, plus it is a blatant console port, the controls are clunky and the game bountries are downright annoying but that doesn't detract from the fun enough for me to say its a crap game

I say if you can get it for less than $40 go for it.

Fantastic game and I absolutely love the humor. It doesn't run that great though. I get about 35-50 fps at max settings, 1680x1050 with 2xAA.

Your CPU may be the limiting factor. I could run it on highest settings with 2xAA fine on a GTX 460.

Game isn't that good.

Get it when it's in the $15-20 range, which will most likely be soon

It's just your resolution certain aspect ratios don't cause the game to use your GPU past the 50% mark, but bet in 1080p it'd run flawless even on your rig.

Anywho, to the guy who had to "show-off" how *ugly* the game is, i'm here to show you all the light. This game looks amazing maxed and here are the screens to prove it (by the way most of these aren't even native res/with AA on !)

Sorry to be a wet blanket, but even in a smaller res the game still doesn't look that great :/

I ran the game 1920x1080, everything maxxed.

Here's some screens i took a few days ago:

Very repetative, I regret buying this game but it has kept me busy for a few days while I play around with the skillshots but thats about it.

I thought the graphics and the scenery were beautiful, very pretty to gaze at during the SP.
