HQV score limited by PCI-e Bandwidth?

Was going to put this in HTPC, but seems more relevant to the video-card section.

Does anyone has ever found any results that putting a video-card on lets say a slot with only 4 or especially 1 lanes, will result in a lower HQV score?

It's would seem probable that when the bandwidth is insufficiency to encode and post-process (de-noise, AA, scale, etc.), that the encoding is favoured. I know that low speed GPU memory and low amount of stream processors can cause this, but not PCI-e bandwidth. This with DXVA enabled.

Has anyone got a HQV 2.0 test of a recent card, on a PCI-e x1 generation 1.0 or 2.0 slot? I'm hoping to do the test myself... sometime.

16x vs. 8x is minimal. 8x vs. 4x/1x is like a huge amount of performance loss.

Source? Are you talking about bandwidth only or an actual test done by yourself or someone else?
