Gaming build for a friend, what do you think?

Trying to keep it on a fairly low budget.
He says he wants to be able to run the upcoming "Battle Field 3" on a 1080p monitor with all high settings.
The only thing I am worried about is the CPU lacking. I think 4 cores, 4 threads, and 3.2Ghz is enough for gaming though. Cooling shouldn't be an issue.
It is also loosely based on being easily upgraded. With the motherboard's AM3 slot he can just pop in a hex core CPU if need be. The PSU and scaling of the new AMD cards allows him to just crossfire in the future.

Honestly go with the 955 black editionhttp://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103808
$139
and as for the gpu i would actually go with the Sapphire and only reason i would, is because ive personaly had good experiences with there RMA department if anything went wrong with there products. But its really up to u http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102914
Other than that everything else looks good.
If u do want to O/C the cpu or vga might want to invest in some type of after market cooling especially the cpu. As for ur psu it is a overkill but since u did say there is a second gpu in the future it will be perfectly fine

Looks good. Power supply is overkill, imo, and the f3 is a much better drive.

He doesn't plan (or want) to overclock, so I saved him the money and just went with the normal edition CPU.

I would go with the 955, Battlefield 3 is going to be pretty CPU intensive as well as GPU. The L3 cache will help and its a much better proc overall. That mobo you selected is x16/x4 which will bottleneck 6950's in crossfire. Also, that OCZ psu is pretty gross, I would spend a little extra and get something better. You didnt use any combos? Here's a build I put together.

Get an Antec TP-750 + Lancool K62
or Antec TP-650 + Lancool K58W
(Check combo deals for the links)
There's much better RAM choices at same or similar or same price, i.e. Ripjaws 1600 CL7 $50, Patriot Gamer 2 1600 CL9 $45, $35 AR

Does your friend have an issue with used parts?
there are lots of good deals in the the OCN market place

You should look at the Antec 300 it is low cost and has very good air flow
Spend the extra 30 and get the 940, the L3 cache alone is worth it

Also I would get DDR3-1600 vs. 1333 it will give your CPU faster access to the ram
