BenQ G2420HD or Viewsonic VX2450WM-LED??

Hello every1,

I have decided it's time to get rid of my old 19" LG FLATRON W1934S and get a BenQ G2420HD, I've read a lot of what was said about it, I use my pc for everything, mainly watching videos, playing pc games (In the future I might get a console), browsing, but I'm more concerned about it's gaming abilities, can I expect a lot from this monitor? Does anybody have any valid points of why I shouldn't get this monitor? Cause I can get in it in a couple of days.

I know the difference between LED and LCD but is it really noticeable in my uses?

I hope some1 gives me a clear opinion about this monitor soon cause I really would like to order it asap. Thanks.

That is a terrible monitor. BenQ is great but that's their lowest end hunk of junk!

Bump your budget up to 180

Good to know, the budget can go up to 250$, however I'm stuck with whatever is offered in my market.

How about Viewsonic 24" LED VX2450WM-LED ??

I know it lacks HDMI but since according to most people, the only difference between HDMI and DVI is that HDMI is the same picture but with sound, I'm not going to use the internal speakers anyway.
However I have 1 question regarding the lack of HDMI input, let's say I got an xbox360 or PS3 at some point, am I going to be able to connect it to the monitor using DVI or not, what about the sound, can I connect the console to external speakers? (I have no experience with consoles, I've only seen an xbox360 once)
