SLI setup

Thread Starter
I ordered 2 gtx 460 but im currently running 1 gtx 470

i never had dual gpu setup, so would i need to uninstal drivers before i switch cards?

and would nvidia drivers automatically see im running sli? or i will have to dig in the options?

you shoudln't need to uninstall and reinstall drivers, just hook the gpus up and link then go to the nvidia control panel and make sure you have sli enabled

ive never used 3d since i dont have anything that will support it, you could uninstall and reinstall just to make sure you have all the updated sli profiles and such.

for me I needed to install 266.66 drivers to use GTX 560 Ti 2gb but for 460 do as TonkaEE stated.
