It actually comes with barbs, so the OD of the tubing is not important so long as you use 1/2" ID tubing. The OD given is that of the included tubing.

That being said, 1/2" x 3/4" is generally better tubing as it is more kink resistant than 1/2" x 5/8" tubing. The same goes for 3/8" ID tubing; the thicker wall (5/8" rather than 1/2") is beneficial, especially in confined cases where tighter bends are required.

I think I might not xspc as with this I will have to get bay at the front of the case I don’t really fancy this as blow it will be my hard drives

Can I ask how do I clean a Nickel cpu water block?
How do you clean a EVGA GeForce GTX 590 Classified Hydro Copper I know it’s not out yet but I want to ask how would one clean this?

as I thing a 480 rad is over kill for just cpu water cooling.
even a 240 is overkill for just a cpu loop

true but I am now considering getting a new evga water block gpu so I as well as cpu

cleaning with ultrasound. dentists use it, jewellers, coin collectors, etc. you can pretty much clean anything with it and it is extremely good at doing it.
