If you take the sticker off it means you've took the card passed the factory setting meaning AMD will not warrant the card.

How can they tell you took it passed factory setting? if you removed the sticker.

If you overclock passed factory specs without the switch i.e. using Afterburner then your warranty is void unless its RMA'ed with default clocks and a yellow sticker intact. Or just buy a Sapphire or XFX and remove the sticker.

I doubt they would be dumb enough to overlook that.

That said, it wouldn't surprise me if a hairdryer and careful picking could make it work.
