Ok well then I see no problems in owning the card so I guess I will buy this one.

Edit: Is it worth spending a little extra and getting the 1gb version as I do use photoshop occasionally?

Also, looking over your other concerns, unless you get the fan running over 70%, it shouldn't be too loud.

The one of the other 400 cards. If you recall, it was the one that brought NVIDIA back into the game. It consumes the same power as the GTX 550 Ti and is a lot faster.

No. Photoshop is RAM and CPU intensive, not GPU intensive. If you have at least 4GB of RAM, Photoshop shouldn't have any problems.
