How's Homefront, guys?

Thread Starter
Thinking of picking it up, only other game I would want is Crysis 2. Multi player is mediocre, sure. But the single player looks pretty cool.

Thanks.

I was wondering the same thing too. Gonna have to wait on Homefront cuz that's another game i want on the list. I need to sell my Mamba today since another new one RMA came in today and i don't need it lol.

I'm still getting used to it. I've only played for about an hour. Mouse movement and aiming feels a bit unpolished. Will be trying out the multiplayer soon.

I had much higher expectations for the graphics and visuals though. It almost looks like a cross between COD 4 and XIII.

apparently the SP is pretty short - according to IGN's review it can be beat in 5 hours, and where the game is good and makes up for it (short length) is in MP.

they did say it was a good game, just not great, and really enjoyed the story apart from the length. 7/10 for the game. i guess if you want SP then look elsewhere

i've been talking to kcuestag off here and he says he really enjoys it.

I beat SP on normal last night in 5 hours, It was cool but it was a bummer it was so short... I like games to be around 10 hours for 50 bucks . Multiplayer is pretty cool though.

After a couple hundred hours of dealing with BC2's awkward and inconsistent hit detection, the shooting in Homefront feels decent. I haven't really spent that much time with SP, but by all accounts it's too short and ends terribly. Multiplayer will take another week or so to mature.
